RC Employees Join Bikes for Tikes 2018

Richland, Washington – December 08, 2018. RC employees joined the ninth annual ‘Bikes for Tikes’ event that was held at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. This annual event involves hundreds of volunteers assembling childrens’ bikes, starting from individual parts and resulting in a finished product.

During this year’s event, nearly 1,800 bikes were assembled in less than 3 hours.

The Bikes for Tikes event is primarily sponsored by UA Local Union 598. The bikes are donated to many different organizations in the local community, as well as a children’s hospital in Spokane and communities in Walla Walla and Eastern Oregon.

This was RC’s second year participating in the event. We hope to continue working with in years to come!
